axisfirst will work with you, discussing your likes and dislikes and looking at your corporate image, before producing a number of design concepts. Following further discussions, those design concepts are refined into a prototype site, accessible to you via the Internet so that you can review the work in progress and see it just like a real website. When the project is complete, we publish the site for you. By working with you at every step, we help ensure that the finished site is right.
We also appreciate that a good website should not be a static website - it needs to evolve and develop; sometimes it may benefit from a complete overhaul if, for example, you re-brand your company. More often, though, it just needs occasional minor updates. We continue to work with you whenever you want to discuss developments to your website or, with many clients, we will pro-actively talk to you on a regular basis (typically monthly or quarterly) and recommend further developments.
Future-Proof Design
Websites created by axisfirst, including any axis vMerchant sites, the design will incorporate "content management" facilities. This means that particular areas that you know may change on a regular basis, such as News stories, an About Us page or the welcome text on your home page, will all be database driven - once the design is complete, you have the ability to update the content yourself, as often as you like. This allows you to keep your site fresh, with the latest news stories, giving you complete control.
